Industrial fabrication in Chillicothe, Ohio

About half an hour north of the shop.

Chillicothe is close work for us, roughly the same short run north that Portsmouth is south, and it is served directly from the Piketon shop.

Chillicothe sits comfortably inside the range where we can be useful on short notice. The shop is about half an hour south, which means a look before quoting is realistic, a return trip to check a fit is not a lost day, and being open 24 hours is a genuine option rather than a line on a listing.

The industrial work here is the same as anywhere else we operate. Setting and aligning production equipment, mechanical repair on site or back at the shop, on-site fabrication where a part cannot leave the floor, pipe welding in steel and stainless, and the whole run of job shop work in aluminum, steel and stainless.

Fleet work is worth calling out separately, because a lot of it comes from this direction. Service bodies, dump bodies, decks, skirts and structural repair. Rebuilding a body is usually a fraction of replacing the unit, and the truck comes back to work rather than going to auction.

As everywhere, the scope is commercial and industrial, with handrails, gates and fences as the single residential exception, and no small repairs.

Because the shop is close, the 3D CAD and printing side is genuinely usable here too. On a complicated part we can model it, print a check piece, and bring that up to your machine before we cut any metal. At half an hour away that is an afternoon rather than a project.

If you are not sure whether a job is one for us, send a photograph through the job form. We would rather tell you honestly at the start than find out together halfway through.

Questions about working in Chillicothe

Q01

Do you take fleet work from Chillicothe?

Yes. Truck and trailer bodies are a large share of the shop's work and Chillicothe is an easy run for it.

Q02

Can you get here for a night shutdown?

We are open 24 hours and Chillicothe is about half an hour away, so night and weekend windows are workable. Tell us the window when you send the job.

Q03

Do you come to Chillicothe or do we bring work to you?

Both. On-site fabrication, millwright and mechanical work happen at your facility. Shop fabrication and vehicle bodies are built in Piketon, about half an hour south.

Q04

Do you take residential work here?

Handrails, gates and fences only, and no small repairs. Everything else we take is commercial and industrial.
