Industrial fabrication in Cincinnati, Ohio
Under two hours west of the shop.
Cincinnati is a travel market for us: the crew drives west and the fabrication happens back in Piketon.
We serve Cincinnati from the Piketon shop, and as with Columbus we would rather be clear about the distance than let you find out later. There is no Cincinnati location. What there is, is a fabrication shop that runs 24 hours and a crew that travels.
That makes us a better fit for some jobs than others, and we will tell you which yours is. Planned work suits us: an install, a shutdown, a modification with a date on it, a fabricated assembly that has to be built and delivered. Emergency work two hours away is a harder promise and we would rather not make one we cannot keep.
Where the drive stops mattering is on shop work. A custom part in aluminum, steel or stainless, a rebuilt truck body, a set of gates or handrails, a machined and tapped assembly. Those are built in Piketon and the distance is one delivery, not a daily commute.
It is also worth knowing that we can model a part in 3D CAD and print a check piece before cutting metal. On a job at this distance, proving the fit before we build is worth more than it would be across town, because a remake costs a trip as well as material.
One more practical note for this distance. We ask for photographs, dimensions and access details up front rather than after a quote, and on a Cincinnati job that is not paperwork for its own sake. Every unplanned return trip across the state costs a day, so the questions we ask at the start are the ones that keep the job at the price we quoted.
The scope is the same as everywhere else. Commercial and industrial work, with handrails, gates and fences as the single residential exception, and no small repairs.

Questions about working in Cincinnati
Q01Are you set up for emergency call outs in Cincinnati?
Honestly, planned work suits this distance better. We are open 24 hours and we will always tell you what we can actually reach and when, rather than promising a response time we cannot hold.
Q02Can you deliver fabricated parts to Cincinnati?
Yes. Shop work is built in Piketon and delivered, and at this distance that is usually the most efficient way to use us.
Q03What should I send with a Cincinnati enquiry?
Photographs, rough dimensions and access details. At this distance those three things are what stop an unplanned return trip, which is the only thing that makes a job at this range expensive.
Q04Do you take fleet work in Cincinnati?
Yes. Service bodies, dump bodies, decks and structural repair are a large share of the shop, and vehicle work is normally dropped with us rather than worked on site.
