Light industrial sandblasting

Paint does not fail because the paint was bad nearly as often as it fails because it was put onto rust, scale or oil. The same is true of a repair weld laid over a surface nobody cleaned. Preparation is not the interesting part of the job and it is usually the part that decides how long the result lasts.

We blast in the shop as preparation ahead of coating or repair, on parts we are already fabricating and on parts brought in for prep. It is light industrial work, which is an honest description rather than a modest one. Tell us the part and what is going onto it afterwards and we will tell you plainly whether this is the right shop for it.

Most often this runs as a step inside a larger job: a truck body being rebuilt, a frame being repaired, a fabricated assembly that has to be coated before it goes into service.

When you send this over, tell us the part, its rough size, what is currently on it, and what is going onto it afterwards. Old paint, mill scale, surface rust and heavy corrosion are four different problems and they do not all get the same answer.

If the honest answer is that your part needs a larger or more specialised blasting operation than this one, we will say so. Taking a job we are not set up for wastes your time twice, once when it is here and again when it has to be done properly somewhere else.
